TIGERS LEGEND KELLY ILLNESS UPDATE |  Tuesday 26 January 2010 LEGENDARY Californian Kelly Moran is recovering in a Californian hospital after suffering serious illness.
Moran, a massive favourite with British fans throughout his glittering career which included spells at Eastbourne, Sheffield, Swindon, Birmingham and Belle Vue, has been having breathing problems.
He was in intensive care over the weekend but reports suggest the 49-year-old has made an encouraging improvement over the last two days.
Former USA team-mates Dennis Sigalos, Bobby Schwartz, Bruce Penhall and his brother Shawn have all visited him.
Sheffield Speedway would like to send our good wishes to Kelly for a speedy recovery.
